Southwest Community Services, Inc. is a non-profit, human services agency with four separate and distinct divisions: Tinley Park Developmental Training Program, Community Enterprises, Community Employment Services and the SCS Phoenix Center. Each division serves a different population including developmentally disabled adults, mentally disabled adults, children 0-3 years old with development delays and individuals with cerebral palsy and other neuromuscular disorders. After over 30 years, SCS continues to be a top provider of human services in the south and southwest suburban area and is set for future growth.

Since it's beginning in 1971, Southwest Community Services, Inc. has always provided for the social, vocational and emotional well being of its consumers encompassing individuals with developmental, mental and physical disabilities.

Our Mission
To provide programs for adults who are mentally disabled, enhancing employability and economic independence through personal, social and vocational experiences, work adjustment, employment and supported employment opportunities, and to provide programs for children with developmental delays, maximizing individual potential for future learning and socialization serving individuals in Metropolitan Chicago, Cook and Will counties.
